Through deeply receiving the Enrootment Method in different forms

Enrootment holds a special place in my heart, as it touched everything that I am. And that is what I truly needed - an invitation to fall apart, to break open, and to reclaim my own power.

 

Receiving it allowed me to retrieve trust in myself, in the intelligence of my own body, in the desires I have in this life, and in my ability to hold myself in compassion, softness and in so much joy. 

After nearly 30 years as a practicing body psychotherapist, discovering the Enrootment Method was like a homecoming - reconnecting to the somatic source which inspired me to begin this work in the first place.  It allows me to connect quickly to the deep tissue armor hidden throughout the body that is so often overlooked or misunderstood and inspired me to pursue a stronger somatic direction with the people I work with. The Enrootment Method is a unique gateway to release the power of the body to heal itself of deep emotional, relational and psychic wounds.

Many techniques and modalities are conducted from a rational, clinical, or mental perspective. This sets you up to understand your patterns, but leaves you circling in the same place of feeling like you're not making progress.

We have been falsely taught that in order to heal we need to understand everything we are feeling. Very often there is the misconception that it is dangerous to feel and that we should find a way to manage our emotions and "regulate" our nervous system.

This bypasses the most crucial element of healing: the deeply felt human experience that takes place in your bones.

The Enrootment Method approaches the human being as a complex, interconnected system. Mind, body, emotions, and lived experience are not separate layers to be addressed individually - they continuously influence each other and must be worked with as a whole. Rather than working only through conversation or insight, we work directly with what is physically present. Patterns in posture, muscle tone, breath, and sensation are not seen as symptoms to remove, but as meaningful expressions of how the human system has adapted over time. When addressed with precision and understanding, they offer a direct pathway into lasting change. The Enrootment Method brings together psychological understanding, verbal guidance, and hands on bodywork into one coherent approach. It allows practitioners to work simultaneously with mental patterns, emotional processes, and the physical body, instead of moving between them in isolation.
