Enrootment 1-1 Opportunities with its Founder
October 2026
Antwerp
Do I need previous experience with bodywork or therapy to join? Nope. This intro session is open to both seasoned practitioners and beginners. Whether you’re already working with clients or just exploring the healing arts, you’ll be guided step-by-step in a safe and welcoming learning space. Everyone starts somewhere—and we’re pretty good at meeting people where they are.
Is this session hands-on? Will I be touching or touched? Yes. You’ll both give and receive a guided bodywork sequence. All practices are fully clothed and rooted in consent, boundaries, and trauma-informed awareness. You're always in choice. Nothing is ever forced or assumed. We prioritize creating a space that feels respectful, attuned, and safe.
What makes this different from other methods? We go beyond “just regulating the nervous system” or “just holding space.” The Enrootment Method blends touch, presence, nervous system awareness, and multidimensional intelligence into a single practice. We work at the pace of the body, through the body—because insight without integration just doesn’t stick. Also, our practitioners walk the talk. We don’t teach anything we haven’t lived.
Is this a certified training? This intro session is not a certification, but it’s your first step toward it. If you feel aligned with the method, you’ll have the opportunity to join the full Enrootment Training afterwards. This half-day experience gives you a taste of the work, the community, and the depth we move with.
What should I wear or bring? Comfortable clothes you can move and lie down in (think yoga or movement-friendly). Bring a water bottle, notebook, and an open mind. We’ll provide everything else you need.
Will this be emotional or intense? Sometimes, yes - but always in a resourced and supported way. We work with trauma, but we don’t force it. The body is wise. It knows what’s ready. You’ll be held in a space where regulation and integration are just as important as depth.
What’s the group size? We keep things intimate and small so you get personal support and hands-on feedback. This also allows for safety, spaciousness, and genuine connection. The maximum amount of participants is 20 and we will have enough assistance and support to hold the whole group in a safe space.
✔️ Taking time to arrive in the space and in your body
✔️ Movement and exercises around boundaries and consent preparing us for exploring touch with greater awareness
✔️ Introduction to the foundations of Enrootment through paired bodywork practice: you’ll experience both giving and receiving, with guidance throughout
✔️ Group bodywork session and journey: as everyone lies down, Enrootment practitioners offer individual hands-on support within the shared space - an opportunity to settle, receive, and notice what becomes available when you give the body your attention
✔️ Throughout the day, we explore presence as something you can practice: staying with sensation in stillness, listening with curiosity, and meeting what arises with compassion
You choose your level of participation. You can decline touch, observe an exercise, or take a break. There is no expectation to share personal stories or have a particular emotional experience.

Perhaps you already support others, but sometimes find it difficult to connect mental understanding with what is happening physically. You may want to meet deeper layers of experience, develop greater confidence in your craft, or explore a more integrated way of working.
This immersion offers a first encounter with how Enrootment brings these dimensions together. We begin with what can be noticed in the body—sensation, breath, posture, and muscle tone—while leaving room for emotional experience and the subtler qualities of energy and connection.
You’ll leave with a felt introduction to the method, a clearer sense of its relevance to your professional and personal journey, and ways to practise greater presence in your work and daily life.

Get Rooted is especially suited to bodyworkers, therapists, coaches, and other practitioners who want to deepen their work with people.
You’re also welcome if you’re considering this direction and want to explore the method before committing to training. No previous bodywork experience is required, and you don’t need to bring a partner.
The day is intended for people curious about learning and practising this work. It is not designed as an individual therapeutic session or a programme focused primarily on personal recovery.

The day is facilitated by Simeon Van der Hoeven, founder of Enrootment Method, with a background in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences.
His approach brings together an understanding of the physical body with experiential exploration, supporting a practice rooted in discernment, depth, and humanity.
If the experience resonates, we’ll introduce the Foundations training, the certification pathway, and opportunities to develop your practice further.
This immersion is an introduction, not a practitioner qualification. Further training is required before offering Enrootment work professionally.
Attendance includes credit toward the November or December training, together with a participant discount. Details will be shared during the day.

✔️ Language: English (Dutch or French clarification may be possible, full translation is not guaranteed)
✔️ Price: €89 for the full workshop, including BTW
✔️ Bring: Something to write with and a notebook

Come with curiosity. Give yourself time to experience the work.

One-Day Immersion into Enrootment Method
17 October 2026
-
13:00 - 18:30

How do we move from understanding someone’s experience to meeting it through the body? Enrootment approaches the person as a whole. Mind, body, emotions, and lived experience continuously influence one another. Through psychological understanding, verbal guidance, and hands-on bodywork, we bring these connections into the practice itself.
Get Rooted is an invitation to experience this approach firsthand. Through movement, guided exploration, and giving and receiving introductory bodywork, you’ll discover a different way of relating to the body with presence, compassion, and curiosity.
There is room for depth, and also for playfulness, rest, and being nurtured.

Do I need previous experience with bodywork or therapy to join? Nope. This intro session is open to both seasoned practitioners and beginners. Whether you’re already working with clients or just exploring the healing arts, you’ll be guided step-by-step in a safe and welcoming learning space. ✔️ Ceremonial cacao
We begin together with cacao, taking time to arrive, settle into the body and bring attention to what is present.
✔️Connection & partner exploration
Through guided conversation and partner exercises, we explore what helps us feel close and what makes us pull away. There is room to notice your boundaries, express yourself and listen without needing to fix anything.
✔️Enrootment & energetic bodywork
A guided bodywork journey invites you to meet sensation, emotion and energy with curiosity. We make space for movement, stillness, release and rest, following what unfolds in the body.
✔️Breath & live sound
Breathing practices and a live sound journey by Samantha and Simeon accompany the experience, offering space to listen, feel and settle.
✔️Integration & time together
We close with time to share, reflect and connect. Stay a little longer, meet the people around you, and allow the experience to land..jpg)
Connection is something we seek, but allowing it can feel unfamiliar.
Past experiences may have taught us to protect ourselves - to stay in control, hide our needs or keep others at a distance. The pace of everyday life can make it harder to notice these patterns.
Together, we explore how protection shows up in the body and in our relationships. We bring attention to the places where we tighten, hesitate or disconnect, and give ourselves time to discover another way of meeting them.
The invitation is to make room for authentic contact while respecting your own pace.

This gathering is for anyone curious about embodied connection, cacao and the Enrootment Method.
You may feel drawn to deeper contact with yourself, wish to explore how you relate to others, or simply want an evening of presence and shared experience.
Practitioners are also welcome to experience the work firsthand and explore how bodywork, breath and sound come together.
No previous experience is needed. You can join on your own, partner exercises take place within the group.
